PARIS, France: From tomorrow until Saturday, the Palais des Congrès de Paris is hosting the French Dental Association’s (ADF’s) annual conference and exhibition. Under the theme “Souriez, on va se retrouver” (smile, we’ll meet again), the organisers are welcoming attendees in person again this year, after last year’s event had to be cancelled owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

The scientific programme is centred on general practice and offers participants five days of continuing education sessions with nearly 100 lectures, workshops and demonstrations. A programme dedicated to dental assistants and adapted to the new challenges of their profession is also being offered. The majority of the scientific programme will be held in French, eight sessions being given in English or interpreted into English.

The exhibition will open its doors on Wednesday, 24 November, at 2 p.m. and will boast 350 exhibitors from all over the world.

Safety and congress app

To provide a safe experience for all participants, specific measures are in place at the entrance and inside the venue: all attendees have to show a meeting badge and their health pass, and wear a mask at all times.

Dental professionals can download the ADF congress app to better prepare for their visit. The app—available for iOS and Android systems—allows attendees to browse through session details, to save selections in a personal schedule, to locate exhibitors on an interactive map, to navigate to conference rooms and to interact with speakers.
